PrinTable Project

#PrintableProject is the result of my wood printing skills (#PaperLithographyOnWood) to establish a collection of printed furniture. Developed in 2020, the idea of transferring my art onto "useful" became an obvious one. I'd like to bring my wood panels to life through fifth wheels, bistro tables and coffee tables. Any furniture can be imagined covered with a print on wood, paper or fabric to give it a new skin. I transfer my own photos using this manual technique: lithography on paper. It's a technique I picked up when I was at art school in New York. To transfer the photo, the paper undergoes several treatments such as the application of water, gum arabic and oil-based ink. I use a make-up sponge to apply the ink. The work done on the paper is then transferred to 3mm or 20mm birch plywood discs.
