PrinTable Project
#PrintableProject is the result of my wood printing skills (#PaperLithographyOnWood) to establish a collection of printed furniture. Developed in 2020, the idea of transferring my art to "useful" became obvious. I wish to give life to my wood panels through saddles, bistro tables or coffee tables. Any furniture can be imagined covered with a print on wood, paper or fabric to give them a new skin. It is my own photos that I transfer using this manual technique; lithography on paper. A technique that I learned when I was in art school in New York. To transfer the photo, the paper undergoes several treatments such as the application of water, gum arabic and oil-based ink. I use a makeup sponge to apply the ink. The work done on the paper will be transferred to 3 or 20mm plywood birch disks.
